A trespassing call at a South Meadows McDonalds Wednesday morning led to an officer involved shooting in South Reno. Reno Police were called to the fast food restaurant around 9am, for a man who was asked to leave, but refused. The man was uncooperative with police, and a chase led to the foot path behind the Latitude 39 Apartments on Double R Boulevard. The officer attempted to arrest the suspect, and was injured. The officer managed to shoot the suspect, and both were taken to the hospital. The officer is in stable condition, and the condition of the suspect is unknown.
