The real meaning of Memorial Day will be remembered , as the Nevada Veterans Coalition hosts a memorial service Monday in Fernley at 11am. The event includes music by the Maytan Bands, and guest speakers including Retired Colonel Kat Miller Director of the Department of Veterans Services and Captain Kandace Gonzales an Army Medivac pilot.

Tom Draughon of the Nevada Veterans Coalition encourages you to bring your children and grandchildren to this event. The Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery is off I-80 at Exit 48 in Fernley, turn left on Mission then right on Veterans Way.
