23rd Annual Tahoe Summit Today in South Lake

California Governor Gavin Newsom is the keynote speaker for the 23rd annual Lake Tahoe Summit, it’s at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe today. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and the main program at 10:00 am. Since the first Lake Tahoe Summit in 1997, supporters say they’ve learned a great deal about threats to the lake, and made great strides in protecting and restoring this natural treasure. Governor Steve Sisolak, and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, as well as California Senator Diane Feinstein are among the scheduled speakers. Shuttles are available from Taylor Creek Sno-Park and South Tahoe High School every 20 minutes starting at 8:30am. Shuttles will return to the parking lots at 12:15pm.
