Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Target recently experienced one of the worst data breaches in history. And its customers are paying for it.

First, hackers stole credit and debit card numbers and PINs for nearly 40 million customers who shopped in the store between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, 2013. Then Target found that hackers also took name, email address, mailing address and password information for 70 million more online customers. That’s up to 110 million people affected – roughly a third of the U.S. population.
