BE COOL, JOIN THE FAN CLUB! Our news partner KOLO 8 News Now is working with Washoe Senior Services to help local seniors stay cool this summer. If you know someone 60 or older who does not have A/C or needs fans to help cool their homes, please contact Washoe County Senior Services at (775) 328-2575, or stop by the Senior Center at 1155 E. 9th Street, Building E, to learn more about how to participate in the 2015 Fan Drive for Seniors. New-in-box fans can be donated or picked up between 9 am – and 4 pm, M-F. New fans can be also be donated at the Channel 8 Studios 4850 Ampere Drive, Reno 89502.
