spohn  hn  FOUND & ARRESTED! Last week’s Warrant Wednesday subject, Ashton Spohn, was arrested Thursday evening by the Reno Police Department and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility without bail. In addition to the original warrant, Spohn faces multiple charges related to possessing stolen vehicles, resisting arrest and obstructing. RPD collaborated with Washoe County Sheriffs to find Spohn, a burglary suspect who fled from deputies in Sun Valley last week

Burglar_by_Proxy_(1919)_-_Ad  Burglars Busted!  The Reno Police Burglary division have caught three suspects accused of stealing from several homes in North Reno and Golden Valley. The break in the case came last week when a local citizen called RPD to report some suspicious activity outside a home. Christian Trigilio, 18, Joe Alfaro, 20, and a juvenile were indicted on 4 felony counts for the break-ins.
drugs  Children Found in Carson Drug House — Carson City Sheriffs busted a drug house last week. Sheriff Ken Furlong says the house has ties to gang members from Southern California, and the bust got tricky when officers found a number of small children living in the home on Northgate at Hampton. Of the two suspects caught, Dennis Myers was arrested for drug trafficking a controlled substance and selling a controlled substance, and Jose Colunga was taken into custody on unrelated warrants.

busted arrested freeGrand Theft Auto Suspect Caught — Sparks Police say they have a man in custody they believe stole a vehicle from the Nugget Casino’s valet parking lot early Thursday morning. Police say 24-year-old Michael Anthony Gastelum was seen loitering in the area prior to the theft. Gastelum reached into the valet window at the casino, grabbed a set of car keys that belonged to a white 2014 Hyundai Tucson, and drove off in it!

He was also ordered to repay $2.2M to insurance companies and the government. Dipak Desai sobbed during sentencing by federal Judge Larry Hicks. The judge considered adding more prison time for what he called the “mind-boggling” scope of the doctors’ overcharging nearly 60,000 Nevada patients.
