100 DEADLIEST DRIVING DAYS BEGIN — Law enforcement agencies are increasing efforts to eliminate impaired driving fatalities as holiday months approach. The Reno Police Department will begin their additional enforcement action starting this weekend as part of the Joining Forces campaign to get impaired drivers off the road. The period known by enforcement officials as the “100 Deadliest Days,” starts, and enforcement officials are reminding motorists to designate a sober driver before drinking, use a taxi, call a sober friend or family member or use public transportation if impaired, use local sober ride programs, call 911 if you see a drunk driver on the road, and take the keys or make other arrangements for someone who is about to drive impaired.
