Nevadans Getting Into The Halloween Spirit – Nevadans are expected to spend $103 million on Halloween. The Retail Association of Nevada projects $38 million in spending on costumes, including about $5 million to dress up pets. Candy is expected to be the second-biggest driver behind the seasonal spending. Nevadans are expected to shell out more than $32 million on sweets, and $28 million on decorations. The association says 68 percent of consumers say they plan to hand out candy, while 44 percent plan to dress up.
