Traveling Exhibit To Get Permanent Home – A traveling exhibit celebrating Nevada’s 150th birthday is about to get a permanent home in the state Capitol. Gov. Brian Sandoval is holding a ceremony on Tuesday afternoon to dedicate the display, which includes a custom sesquicentennial saddle. According to officials the exhibit will be housed in Nevada’s Old Assembly Chambers, but will eventually move to the Old Senate Chambers that were recently renamed “Battle Born Hall.” The Senate Chambers are undergoing renovations. Nevada marked its 150th anniversary of statehood on Oct. 31, 2014. The celebration included hundreds of events throughout Nevada over the course of a year.
