D’Andrea Renovations On Hold After Fire – An early morning fire destroyed the vacant clubhouse at D’Andrea Golf Club in Sparks Wednesday. The building is a total loss. This is an apparent case of arson. The building has been a target for vandals since the course closed more than a year ago. Owners say the fire is a tremendous set back to their efforts to revitalize the D’Andrea clubhouse and grounds. Plans included establishing a winery with vineyards, the creation of an events center, as well as creating “community focused” programs.
