Syringes Found Hidden In Teddy Bear – The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a first grader was pricked by a needle after picking up a teddy bear, at Mark Twain Elementary School. School officials say a seven-year-old boy had picked up a teddy bear from an outside trash can on the playground, and was stuck by a needle from inside the toy.  Deputies found five syringes that had been hidden inside the bear. Early tests on the syringes gave a positive indication for methamphetamine. Further testing for communicable diseases is being performed.
