More Schools Removed From Norovirus List

The Washoe County School District says most of the schools on its Norovirus outbreak list have been removed. The Washoe County Health District reports gastrointestinal illness outbreaks in schools and daycares had sickened over a 1,000 people. Then came a week-long school break, which allowed for cleaning of schools and patients to recover. The school district now says only six of the original schools remain on the outbreak list. Those include Stead Elementary, Westergard Elementary, Jesse Hall, North Valleys High School, Sparks High School, and Spanish Springs High School.
