A suspect has been injured in a shooting involving Washoe County Sheriff deputies in Sun Valley. Police say a suspect in a domestic disturbance, Gregory Kachmann, left the scene, but Washoe County deputies were able to locate him a short time later, still in his vehicle. As deputies were trying to talk with him, they say Kachmann tried to run a deputy over, and was shot. He was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he is in critical, but stable condition. The deputy suffered a knee injury.
