A private basketball coach was arrested, accused of firing a weapon at a teenage boy. 25-year-old Omarri Williams is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. It happened Thursday near Traner Middle School. Police say Williams, who is NOT a school district employee, was coaching basketball at the school when he told someone had vandalized his car. Police say Williams saw a boy in the parking lot, got a gun from his car and fired, hitting a nearby home. Nobody was hurt. It’s not clear whether the boy had anything to do with the vandalism on Williams’s car.
