The Nevada Department of Agriculture is urging extreme caution, after a motorist was taken to the hospital Friday morning after a collision with a wild horse at the intersection of old 395 and Rawhide Drive. Horses in this area are crossing roadways in search of food and water. Drivers should remain alert and aware, and be sure to obey all traffic laws, especially posted speed limits in this area. The horse was killed. Two other horses were killed in crashes in the last few days.
