There’s good news for a popular south-Reno restaurant that voluntarily closed after reports of being tied to an E.Coli outbreak that sickened nearly 2 dozen people recently, but bad news for the establishment that supplied their desserts. According to Health District Officials, the desserts sold at the Twisted Fork were manufactured, sold, and distributed by Reno Provisions. Now that positive test results have identified the specific E. coli source, the Health District’s investigation has shifted focus from the restaurant to the manufacturer. All of the remaining desserts associated with the e-coli contaminations have been disposed of. Twisted Fork will re-open on Tuesday after being closed since mid October.
