Two people were arrested for stealing two pies from a Carson City grocery store, and for also trying to hit the grocery store manager with their car. Marcelo Escareno Fountas and his unidentified female accomplice, went into the Smith’s store on East William Street around midnight Tuesday, grabbed the pies, and then took off in a white Subaru, just missing the manager in the parking lot. Deputies caught up with the suspects a short time later.
