The Reno Fire Department says a woman suffered significant smoke inhalation when she was trapped in a burning apartment Tuesday night. The fire broke out at the Evergreen Apartments at 790 Brinkby Avenue just before 11pm. The woman moved to a back bedroom where she was trapped as her living room and the contents inside burned. The victim refused medical treatment, despite serious concerns from emergency medical workers at the scene. Only one unit was damaged in the fire.
