A Reno computer business is warning it’s seen three incidents of CryptoLocker4 in the last week and thinks the virus might hit our area hard soon. Sierra Computer Group says the “ransom ware” encrypts files and attempts to extort money from computer users, and can encrypt all the machines on a network, disrupting business. CryptoLocker4 is different from other versions of the virus and can be more dangerous, and computer users are urged to watch for it and consult computer experts right away with any issues.
