Crime Doesn’t Pay in Northern Nevada

A local repeat offender has been sentenced to between 48 and 120 months in state prison. David Paley was arrested in May by detectives of the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program. He had committed a burglary of a closed appliance store in Sparks by breaking the glass in the front window and stealing cash. Paley has a criminal history dating to March of 1989 with this being his 10th felony conviction; seven of them were non-drug-related.
