Powder hounds who asked for deep snow for Christmas will get their wish. One of the largest storms in several years has dumped more than five feet of new snow on Sugar Bowl Resort and even more is on the way, allowing the resort to begin opening the entire mountain for a week of deep holiday skiing.  Sugar Bowl reported 67 inches of new snow at the top of the mountain over the four-day storm that ended Wednesday morning, and has seen 191 inches of snow at the top of the mountain so far this season. Another, colder storm is expected to drop another 18 inches of snow at Sugar Bowl on Christmas Eve, setting the stage for a Christmas powder day. Great conditions are expected at all Tahoe Ski Resorts.
