Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful will be hosting its 25th annual Christmas Tree Recycling program, and has partnered with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District to include many more drop-off locations throughout the Truckee Meadows. All Christmas Tree Recycling drop-off locations are for residents only and will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., every day from December 26 to January 10. The drop-off sites include Bartley Ranch, Rancho San Rafael, Shadow Mountain Sports Complex, and now six additional locations at fire stations in Cold Springs, Lemmon Valley, Silver Knolls, Spanish Springs, and Washoe Valley.
