The Sparks Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Star Market on Merchant Street. According to officials, a man and woman entered the store just after 10pm, pulled out a gun and robbed the clerk and a customer of an undetermined amount of cash. The woman is believed to be Hispanic or African-American, approximately 5’6″, medium build and wearing a pink-hooded sweatshirt and camouflage pants. The man is described as Hispanic or African-American, approximately 5’8 to 5’10”, with a medium to slightly heavy build, wearing blue jeans and a black and white shirt. Both of the suspects were wearing masks at the time of the robbery.
