The Reno Police Department is looking for a man who sprayed bear repellent pepper spray inside the Peppermill Resort Spa and Casino early Friday morning, around 1:35 am. Police say a dispute between two men in front of the Oceania restaurant ended when one of the men sprayed the other with pepper spray. Several people were affected by the pepper spray and received medical treatment from REMSA paramedics. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20’s and was last seen running north on Virginia Street from the Peppermill. RPD is asking those affected by the incident to file a police report. Anyone with information relating to this crime or the suspect should contact the Reno Police Department or Secret Witness.
