Looks like the war between three top Nevada republicans has ended. Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison is suspending a lawsuit he filed asking for a quick court decision on Nevada’s new Education Savings Acoount program. The suit named Treasurer Dan Schwartz, the programs administrator, as a defendant. Now Attorney General Adam Laxalt says he’ll drop a motion to dismiss, that suggested the Lt Governor was being unethical. Hutchison said his lawsuit complemented the state’s defense, but Schwartz and Laxalt issued statements calling it a political move. The program offers parents state funds for private school tuition. A Carson City judge put it on hold indefinitely earlier this week.
