Former state Senator Maurice Washington has officially announced his candidacy for the Washoe County Commission. He’ll be running against Incumbent Commissioner Vaughn Hartung for the District 4 seat.  The District 4 seat stretches from Sparks through Spanish Springs and east to Wadsworth.  Washington was a guest today on Reno’s Morning News, you can hear the full interview by clicking HERE
