The owners of Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe are looking to sell. The resort announced the plans in a statement Saturday. Officials say Fritz Buser feels it is the right time to sell, especially with the last season being successful despite a lean snow turnout. The 95 year old Buser has been an owner since 1971. Resort spokesman Mike Pierce says staff was informed last week of the decision. Mt. Rose is a mix of private property and land leased from the U.S. Forest Service.
