Now that the Nugget casino was sold to the Marnell family, who also own casinos in Laughlin, they have big ideas for the casino. They plan on adding new games to the gaming floor, and then a renovation of the west tower will be the next priority.  The Nugget Showroom is also on tap for some much needed improvements, and the Marnell family confirms that Nugget’s Star Spangled Sparks show will also be funded and go off as scheduled this year on July 3rd, which is a Sunday. The date was moved so more people could come out for the event.
