Reno Firefighters say one man was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire damaged a duplex in Stead Monday evening.  It happened about 8:30 when firefighters responded to a call of a fire at a duplex on the 14000 block of Stead Boulevard.  Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze but a department official says two dogs and a cat died and four people were displaced.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
