Sparks Police are investigating an unusual car theft that occurred at the intersection of Greg Street and Spice Island Drive yesterday around 4 o’clock. A woman driving a grey 2000 GMC Yukon was headed northbound on Spice Island when another car hit her from behind. She got out of the car to survey the damage and when she returned to the drivers side of the vehicle she found a man inside who quickly left the scene in her car. The suspect vehicle involved in the staged accident is described as an early 1990s Chevy or GMC and is dark green in color. The driver of that vehicle is described as a white man in his 30s with blond hair. The male who took the victims car is described as a white man in his 30s with a bald or shaved head and a full sleeve of tattoos.
