It’s a milestone for the Carson Freeway project. The final leg of the 42 million dollar project is now 25% complete.  Finishing it means completing the 580 interstate that will further connect Carson City and Lake Tahoe, and make the trip faster and safer.  NDOT’s Meg Ragonese says it also lessens traffic through the heart of the state capital providing some opportunities.  Full completion is expected in 2017.
