Boulder City’s former animal control supervisor is being held on $50,000 bail on animal cruelty charges. Mary Jo Frazier had asked to be freed on her own recognizance. But the judge upheld a $50,000 warrant and ordered her taken into custody. Prosecutors say she euthanized a Dachshund unnecessarily, and failed to provide proper food or care for a pit bull puppy. As many as 150 animals may have been improperly killed at the shelter.
