Four Washoe County Republican Leaders Resign

All four top officers of the Washoe County Republican Party have announced their resignations. Each apparently plans to serve until April 26th, after the April 2nd state convention.  Chairman Adam Khan says on KOH’s Dan Mason Show, while a majority of the party supported his ideas for broadening the base, there was an “Irate minority” that didn’t.  Lingering anger over GOP approval of the Governor’s tax hike may be a factor in the resignations. Besides Khan, Vice-chairman Tom Dickman, Secretary Barb Hawn and Treasurer Chuck Reno also submitted their resignations at Tuesday night’s meeting.
