The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees has selected five finalists who will be interviewed by trustees, and one will be chosen to fill the remainder of former Trustee Dr. Barbara McLaury’s term. Among the finalists is former Washoe County Manager Katy Simon Holland. Also in the finals Bill Horn, Carlos Ledon, Gary McDonald and Diane Nicolet. The next public meeting will be March 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Washoe County Commission Chambers.
