An El Dorado County judge hands down a stiff sentence for the man who shot and killed a bear, near the Pioneer Trail in South Lake Tahoe.  78 year old Gilbert Alan Wetenkamp was sentenced to two years searchable probation, six months jail time, over $2000 in fines, and a whopping 200 hours of community service, which must be completed in the next six months. Wetencamp also had to surrender all his firearms, and his hunting license.
