A unanimous Washoe County Commission has authorized a ballot question for November, that asks voters to boost sales taxes for school construction and repairs.  Sean Carey helped lead a citizens group to look into the proposal and says passing the tax would eliminate the need for double sessions and early school starting times, among other things.  Carey says the system has been broken since the early 1990’s, and there are 15 new schools needed today, with some schools at 148% capacity.
