The Nevada Department of Transportation is upgrading the roadway on Southbound 580 and US 395 in southern Washoe Valley, replacing a green glare fence with a 42 inch high concrete barrier.  The 3,600 foot barrier will block more glare and headlights for oncoming traffic in the area. There will be some periodic lane closures during construction, causing delays.  You’re only going to see those lane closures during construction hours, which are Monday through Friday, from 9am until 3pm.
