Nevada gaming revenue jumped 8 percent in February compared with the same month a year ago, and saw across-the-board gains. The Nevada Gaming Control Board says the state’s casinos won $990 million in February. Reno casino revenue was up 7 percent to $48 million, and South Lake Tahoe revenue was up 4 percent to $16 million in February. Las Vegas Strip gambling revenue grew more than 7 percent to $570 million last month. Downtown Las Vegas brought in $51 million for a 17 percent gain. The state collected almost $51 million in tax money based off the winnings, which is actually down 13 percent.
