More trouble at the Washoe County School District. Trustee Nick Smith is resigning from the Board of Trustees. He’s accused of misconduct involving a high school student, connected to his private employment, not his position on the board.  Board President Dr. Angie Taylor made that announcement Friday afternoon. Smith is a restaurant manager in Sparks. The resignation comes just days the board filled a seat after the resignation of Dr. Barbara McLaury for unspecified health reasons.
