Law enforcement agencies statewide will be citing “Distracted Drivers” with some special enforcement between now at April 20th. The Reno Police Department is urging motorists to ‘keep your eyes on the road, and put away cell phones and other items that cause distractions’. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration nationally, nearly 32 hundred people were killed and 431 thousand were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers in 2014.
