Seven people have died and over two dozen have been hospitalized in Sacramento county after overdosing on Fentanyl disguised as Norco, a prescription pain killer. So, has the drug made its way to the Truckee Meadows?  The Reno Police Department says not yet, but they’re keeping an eye out for it to emerge here eventually because of the proximity of Reno to Sacramento.  The majority of Fentanyl is being made in China, and the DEA thinks the fake Norco laced with Fentanyl is being filtered through Mexico via drug trafficking organizations who then smuggle it into the United States.
