Drone Company Moving Some Operations To Reno

“Smart Planes,” a Swedish-based drone company, plans to move some of its operations to Reno, according to Warren Rapp, the business director for the University of Nevada “Automomous Systems Innovation Center. He says they plan to employ as many as 20 people within a year. Smart Planes develops high quality and state of the art commercial drones for aerial mapping, surveying, remote sensing and surveillance.
