Reno police have made an arrest in the case of a female victim who was picked-up by a male suspect April 3rd in the downtown area, who began to drive the woman into a secluded area. She got scared and tried to get away, but was choked from behind and awoke to the male pointing a gun and telling her to undress. They continued to drive, until the suspect stopped at a convenience store in Sun Valley. The victim was able to escape and got help at a nearby casino. April 6th officers became aware of a similar case, with a suspect of the same description. In the recent case, the victim was picked up at 4th and Ralston, then sexually assaulted at a location North of Golden Valley, then released. The suspect was identified as 19 year old David Calderon-Morales, of Sun Valley. He is currently being held with no bail.
