A former lawyer who failed to report to a Nevada prison following a 2002 tax conviction has been busted in Arizona. 74-year-old Palle Bognaes was arrested last week in Phoenix and has been transferred to the Bureau of Prisons to begin serving his original six-year sentence. Bognaes was convicted in 2001 in Reno of conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstructing the administration of the internal revenue laws, tax evasion and failure to file income tax returns. He was sentenced to 80 months in prison in January 2002, but failed to report two months later.
