The quick work of firefighters prevented a Carson City brush fire from getting out of control Wednesday afternoon near Carson-Tahoe Medical Center.  The fire had grown to an acre, but was quickly knocked down. Carson City Emergency Manager Stacey Belt says the fire grew quickly and they are lucky that they caught it when they did.
