Sparks Police Department identified and arrested Juan De Jesus Reyes-Palomino for Attempted Sexual Assault, False Imprisonment and Open and Gross Lewdness,  stemming from a report of unwanted sexual contact and attempted sexual assault.  A woman contacted Sparks PD reporting that an unknown man had answered her Craigslist ad,  where the victim was selling children’s clothing.  The suspect arrived to under the guise of purchasing items listed in the ad.  Once inside, the suspect began asking abnormal personal questions and inappropriately touching the victim.  She was able to finally convince the suspect to leave because her child was present.  The victim then reported the incident to Sparks Police.  Detectives gathered information, including positively identifying the suspect as Juan De Jesus Reyes-Palomino who was arrested.  Detectives believe he has been answered other Craigslist ads as far back as three months ago, so it’s possible there may be other victims.
