In case you missed it, our news partners at KOLO 8 did a great story about students at Tahoe Expedition Academy “Adopting,” Reno’s Veterans Guest House.  The fifth graders, with help from their parents, brought homecooked meals to the guest house, then spent some time there making thank you cards for veterans they hand delivered to patients at the nearby VA Hospital. The students are also creating a magazine they will fill with stories about individual veterans, proceeds from sales of the magazine will also benefit the veterans guest house.
