As many have guessed, the raids on a local car dealership are about drugs. Several more arrests are being reported, including a still unnamed local doctor and as many as eight others, as part of an alleged conspiracy to distribute addictive prescription narcotics, including Oxycodone. This follows raids on the home of Richard West Jr., and the Jones West Ford dealership. Our News Partners at KOLO 8 report, besides West Jr.,  in custody are several people with employment ties to the business: Braden Riley, Joshua Green, Omar Ahmad and Kathleen Griffin. All, including West Jr., are being held on DEA or “federal matter” charges. None of the involved agencies has released names of any of those arrested, but West Jr. is listed on the Washoe jail records as being in custody.  The dealership remains open and Richard West Sr says the dealership itself is NOT the focus of the probe.
