A Reno Police officer may be cited for a crash yesterday morning on highway 395. The officer was near the North McCarran exit, headed to a call, but was not using lights or his siren. NHP Troopers say the officer looked down for a moment, and when he looked back up, traffic had slowed and he didn’t have time to stop. He hit the rear of one vehicle and the left side of another while swerving. He then hit the left rear of a pickup, which hit an SUV. A total of five vehicles were involved in the crash.
