University Chancellor Faces Regents

Nevada higher education Chancellor Dan Klaich is accused of misleading lawmakers trying to restructure how schools are funded. The Nevada Board of Regents is holding a special meeting Thursday where they could decide to terminate Klaich. He allegedly submitted a fabricated memo from a paid consultant,  to a legislative interim committee. Klaich was cleared last September, after being accused of “Softening” a report by that same paid consultant.
